I haven’t been on here that much and that’s unfortunate. I enjoy blogging and chatting with you all and more importantly, sharing my art journey with you.
To be completely honest, I don’t agree with waiting until a new year or a specific day to start achieving your goals. When you’re ready, just start. But, with the new year, I , at the last minute, threw a posting schedule together for my social media. We all know how easy it is to get caught up in posting everyday or even just being active on social media everyday; and for me, that takes time away from creating. So my posting schedule with be twice a week on Instagram and Facebook and on Fridays for YouTube. I will be updating my blog at least every Saturday for the end of week art review so you can see what is going on.
My art journey has felt like a comfortable hike in fairly okay shoes, lots of snack breaks, and a random incline now and again. And, well, I’m over it. I’m am ready to take my art journey further. So I’m going from comfortable hike, to mountain climb in the cold. Pushing myself further and making this my beloved career.
I know that this is an every day task and taking the time to do what needs to get done. Remembering not to overload or coddle myself during tough times. And there will be a lot of failure. But those will be lessons learned and it will make success that much better.
So for those who are new, welcome! I encourage you to sign in with your email so you can get notifications on posts. For those who have been around for a while, you are truly appreciated. I am so grateful for all the support during all of this!
My Etsy and RedBubble store will also be updated every 2 weeks (more often when I take the time) with new products so make sure you head over and follow to be notified. Make sure you share your favorite products with friends and family as well!
So with all that said, I will be adding in some art photos from last week and I will talk with you next Saturday.
Have you started your goals? What are your plans for 2019?
